I browse the internet in search or interesting websites or information regularly. From blogs to forums to social networks I visit and am a fan of many websites. Below are a few of my favourites.


GFX Skool

I first became aware of GFX Skool at the end of 2007, this was a time when I was looking to improve my skills in the area of graphic design and particularly with using programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator. It is a forum based website that is dedicated to improving and helping designers improve their skills. You can post designs for comments and critique and join teams that battle each other for fun. Since I joined in 2007 I have moved my way through the staff; Comment Crew, Gfx Team and now my current position of Global Moderator. I visit the website everyday and love to help out people who are new or novices at designing by giving them tips and advice, as well as offering my skills in tutoring sessions. The website has greatly helped me improve my own graphics skill since joining. 

This makes it on to my top list of websites and I suggest you take a look.

Deviant Art is a great websites. It gives unknown graphic, websites and any other kind of designer the ability to connect with the outisde world. I have been a member for 2 years now and have got a lot more recognitoin from it then I have from any other website.

lastFM is a great website, especially for free. It allows you to keep track of your music, discover new music and listen to music for free. It's interesting to see how many times you have listened to your music and each artist as well as each song. It also allows you to listen to a radio of your selected genre or artist and it plays songs related to that genre or artist.

Another one of its features is it recommends music to you based on your current library.

Graphic Hug

(Blog)

Graphic Hug is a good website when you are in need of inspiration. I use if quite a lot if come across a creative block when I am required to create a design. It has pages and pages of professional designs, typography, interviews and even a shop where you can purchase designs.

I suggest you take a look if you are into design or anything creative.

Facebook. Everyone knows facebook. I use it almost everyday and find it a very useful tool for connecting with friends and family. It also makes it easier to organise events or know when events are happening and let the event holders know that you are coming or not.
